Even after fulfilling their promise of giving away free games for a year, Epic Games didn't stop offering PC titles on Epic Games Store and has confirmed earlier to continue rolling out more freebies on a weekly schedule throughout 2020.

This week, EGS has a fair-looking indie 2D pixel art platformer Horace from publisher 505 Games that is available to claim and add to your online collection of games forever before January 18, 7:00 PM PT/10:00 PM EDT.

Horace follows the story of a household robot that lives with a family for a while and bonds with its each member. In one unfortunate event, he gets separated and deactivated for a few years before he gets online somehow.

Rebooted back to a world that he couldn't relate to anymore with his family in it and so, he takes it upon himself to find them. This engaging experience of a small robot was developed by Paul Helman and Sean Scaplehorn.

There are aspects of a regular platform game with player character having some basic abilities, which expands later on. It features some jokes and quips on pop culture references that people with an enthusiasm for older days will surely enjoy.

For their giveaway of next week, Epic Games Store will serve 2013 logic-based puzzle game The Bridge from developer/publisher The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild and it will go live on January 18 to remain until January 30.
