The Callisto Protocol Gameplay Footage Leaked Ahead of Launch

Due to involvement of Dead Space series co-creator, fans are incredibly hyped about upcoming survival horror game The Callisto Protocol by developer Striking Distance Studios and publisher Krafton, which is set to release later this week.

Only few days ahead of launch, early copies of The Callisto Protocol was seemingly leaked by a few players and gameplay is leaked online. Spoilers are possibly making rounds on social media sites as dev team attempts to contain the leak.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL.

Opening cinematic for Callisto Protocol shows an unnamed female character played by actress Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad, The Boys) walking through a city of Jupiter's moon Europa and witnessing an outbreak of an unknown plague.

Back at freight transporter UJC Charon, protagonist Jacob Lee watches over her with his friend Max. Things quickly take a bad turn as he and alleged terrorist leader (Fukuhara's character) is abruptly detained by Black Iron Prison security.

As teased by previous trailers, Callisto Protocol is a gorefest in space that lives up to its overall genre predecessor Dead Space. Because of its excessive violence, the game couldn't get CERO rating in current state and is banned for Japan.

Callisto Protocol is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on December 2, 2022. A post-launch Season Pass will add Outer Way skin collection, extra death animations bundles and story DLC.
