Although an expansion in nature, they want to consider Empyrean as a content pack that will introduce players to new territory of existing in-game world, spaceship and many new upgrades to improve overall experience like past releases.

Warframe will be taking a giant leap forward with cinematic quests with more open world areas. Players will be able to explore throughout Origin System on their Railjack spacecrafts to seek missions and earn exciting reward items.

You are allowed to use Archwing flight system to fly from ship to ship, which is a much cooler way of traversing. We saw three players head into battle from Dry Dock space garage riding a custom Railjack battleship, in live demo.

Their team reaches enemy ship using light speed travel and hit it with EMP blasts before approaching Corpus soldiers on board. Next up, those three moved to another mission to a capital ship and face-off Kuva Lich boss character.

Aside from engaging into action-packed space combat, seizing space ships or interact with NPCs, you can actually recruit them to do your bidding and more when Empyrean finally arrives and developers are working hard to deliver all that.

Despite being six years late, this video is definitely a worthy introduction for a game that has grown a 50 million strong player base. It nicely encapsulates what everyone is getting into and specially will appeal to many newcomers.

Trachtenberg masterfully connects past history of the game into where we are at present in a wonderful cinematic spectacle and what kick-ass action sequence it ended up being clearly reflects his influence of Hong Kong action movies.

PlayStation Plus Free Games For January 2019

PlayStation Plus free games lineup has picked up Steep and Portal Knights for the month of January 2019.

Christmas is over and so is 2018. So, nearing the edge of the year, Sony Entertainment came up with new free games lineup that is coming soon in January 2019 for PlayStation Plus subscribers to celebrate the New Year.

We previously thought that the October 2018 lineup was bad with Friday the 13th: The Game and Laser League but last month, we changed our minds when we saw PS Plus including games like Soma or Onrush for November 2018, because that just made it worse.

Before taking a just jump at the upcoming PS Plus lineup, let's take a moment to look at the clip below showcasing all the titles for January 2019.

The first entry on the list is an extreme sports game Steep from developer/publisher Ubisoft that came out in 2016. The premise is set on the Alps and the massive open world environment it featured was inspired by Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

So, paraglide, ski, snowboard or wingsuit your way to a little excitement while exploring the most epic mountains throughout this winter season. Steep is mostly online-focused and you can bump into other players if you simply enable the "Collide Feature".

The next title to join the lineup is survival action RPG game Portal Knights from developer Keen Games and publisher 505 Games. The in-game characters have a LEGO-like appearance and you might even notice the gameplay has similarities with Minecraft but it still is a fun play.

The game has a cooperative multiplayer where you can team up with up to three of your friends other than wandering alone on your own and that is one of the delightful experience the game has to offer aside from other role-playing aspects.

Third-person shooter Warframe pits players in role of ancient warriors Tenno against a race of clones named the Grineer, powered by robotics and laser tech. There are more than 35 armor suits, loads of weapons with wide array of customizing options.

A huge open-world is up for you to explore as you upgrade your armor or weapons and even join different clans. Until it finally arrives on Switch platform, we cannot tell how much of that are being brought to Nintendo handheld console.

After having successfully ported Doom and Rocket League for Switch, Panic Button studio is back to bring this experience at your grasp. Their director of development, Adam Creighton already stated last month that they are working on a major port.

Considering their reputation and experience of bringing AAA titles from other platforms to Switch, we can bet that they are going to nail this one as well. Plus, they are familiar with Switch hardware from a very early period.

Warframe was launched back in 2013 for PC and PlayStation 4, then a year later in 2014, it debuted on Xbox One. Last time we checked, it had a whooping 38 million players registered worldwide and that is no small achievement.

Debuting on Switch will definitely increase that number higher for sure and open up doorway to many other possibilities for its community. Although this trailer mentions of the port coming very soon, there is no specific release date revealed yet.

Another thing that stuck on our mind is that cooperative first-person shooter game Left 4 Dead 2 is still generating more than 25,000 concurrent players even after a decade of its release. This clearly states, why Turtle Rock Studios should go ahead with a plan to develop Left 4 Dead 3 for anticipating fan-base.

With Steam offering some huge discounts on popular games, hardcore gamers are barging in on old and new titles, because Valve apparently has something for everyone in their store. At the end of the year, we will see some major entries making their way into the list.
